- Rat tail cord (1mm to 1.5mm)
- Pom pom (about 2 inches)
- Double-sided tape or score tape
- Hot glue gun
- Flatback charm, word embellishment, or sticker

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Add Tape to the Pen
Keep the cap on the pen. Apply double-sided tape from near the cap down to the end of the pen barrel.
Add tape on both sides so the cord stays secure while wrapping.
Step 2: Begin Wrapping the Cord
Peel back a small section of the tape.
Place the end of the cord near the top of the pen and begin wrapping tightly around the pen.
Hold the first few wraps in place until secure.
