What can you make with Altoids tins once you have enjoyed all the mints? What a great question. Look no further I have you covered. Today I am going to turn an empty Altoids tin into something you will be proud to gift to someone. What can that be you ask? Of course an altered Altoids tin mini album 😁
Supplies need to complete this project:
An empty Altoids Tin
Scrapbook paper ( Any design you like)
One sheet of cardstock- 65lb
Tape and or Glue
A piece of 1/8 inch ribbon
***Please follow along on my video tutorial here to put the box and album together using the measurements and amounts provided below***
Cardstock- You will need to cut to 7 x 11. Then score in half on the 7 inch side at 3 1/2. Turn on 11 inch side and score as follow: 2 1/8, 4 1/4, 6 3/8, 8 1/2, 10 5/8. Once you have finished scoring the cardstock, cut in half using your score line on the 7 inch side. You will end up with 2 sheets sized 3 1/2 x 11
Inside and Outside Covers- cut 4 size 2 1/4 x 3 5/8
Side Strips- cut 2 each Sizes: 1/2 x11 1/2, 1/4 x 11 1/4, Inside strip 3/4 x 11 1/4
Photo mats- cut 10. One is for the cover of the album so make sure your happy with the design since it will be the focal point of your mini album. Size 2 x 3 3/8
