How adorable are this mini crochet peeps? They take roughly 10 minutes to make and fit inside a medium Easter egg.😊I’m sure you have all the supplies you need to make one of these mini peeps in your stash. So what are you waiting for? Go grab some yarn, a hook and your drink of choice.
I decided to make a mini version of my original peeps, since they were such a big hit. You can see pattern for those here. All while thinking what I would gift my daughters playschool classmates. I thought what a great idea if I could come up with a peep that would fit inside of an egg and of course I love a challenge. I think they came out super adorable. What do you guys think. I hope you love them as much as I do. Be forewarned they are highly addictive. If that is the case don’t you worry I’m sure you will find many happy recipients to gift them too. If not you can just abandon them in your neighborhood to bring joy to whoever finds them. I am part of a Facebook group called Random Act of Crochet Kindness, where they have tons of ideas on little crochet items you can abandon. If interested please join and check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
I know you are waiting for the pattern… Well for this pattern I decided to do a full YouTube crochet along, since there is a tricky part to the design. I also wanted to make sure as many people as possible can have access to the full pattern with tutorial in time for Easter. You can also purchase the inexpensive pdf pattern here.
Here is another cute gift idea. I personalized the bag with my toddlers name using my Cricut. She is 2 years old and lord knows everything I make she says “for Luna” so of course I made her my sample. As I mentioned before they fit perfectly in an egg which fits perfectly in the bag.
