We need to go back to the simpler times when we had photos on hand to show someone. Nowadays I feel when someone says show me a picture, lets say of a baby, we have to scroll through a million photos on our phones. To be honest I give up after some scrolling and find myself just saying “Oh I don’t have that one on this phone.” It’s just easier than scrolling endlessly. With the art of papercrafting we can now make all types of albums, all different sizes and for all occasions. So today we are going to learn to make a wallet album. Yes, its the size of a wallet and hold up to 10 pictures and a note for that special someone. Perfect for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthday or just about any occasion.
You will need:
A sheet of 12×12 scrapbook paper. Make sure to pick a design for your specific occasion.
65lb cardstock and 110lb cardstock for photo mats( You can use one 65lb if you like)
Score board
Glue or score tape
Scissors
Velcro fastener dots
Once you have all your supplies head over to my tutorial and make your own.
Your cover will be 4×8
The album is from the remaining 8×12
Your photo mats will be from 65lb cardstock, color of choice. Your inserts should be thicker so you can use 110lb cardstock but if you don’t have 65lb will work.
You will need: If using 65lb cut all needed. If using 110lb for the inserts. I’ve made those bold.
